As noted in the privacy policy of The One, the English language version of the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use will govern your relationship with The One community. You can also go to your settings pages to choose the theme color and language of your application that you prefer to use. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your personal data.
Products or services covered in The One application are the following:
An educational and informative app does this—educates and informs. While the purpose of this type of app is a study of the God of Scripture. The app does this to help users who seek knowledge about the Scriptures. Christian theology is the theology of Christian belief and practice. Reading the Scriptures will help people become fully knowledgeable and know the true God.
Planning the daily task using Calendar and creating journals–it all falls under lifestyle apps. Calendar is an app that allows users to see a listed schedule for the day, month, and year. The Journal in the app is to allow the user to self-reflect and it can help to look back on the events in life because of wanting to improve or maintain the positive events in life.
Entertainment apps are often used to fill your time, whether you’re jet-setting across the country, lounging at home, or really anywhere in between. These apps provide Christian music and podcast which different preachers that users can choose to listen to.
Social media apps give users the opportunity to connect with people inside or outside their social circles. For the most part, social media apps are universal and have a very diverse user base. These apps are used to share live videos, post images, facilitate conversations, and more. Social media apps have quickly become part of our everyday lives. A community is a forum for people to share their lives with the world through pictures and captions.
Your acceptance of these Terms
The One application aims to connect and reach the various Christian communities and bring them closer together. If you agree to provide us with permission, we need you to make the following terms and conditions:
Users
Create your account with the same name, and accurate information about yourself, and do not share your account password with others. The One admin is not responsible if you use a fake account and it has a problem because you must be responsible for your own actions. When someone reports your account as fake, we will disable your account at The One to prevent impersonation and identity misrepresentation.
Community Post & Groups
You may use The One community in accordance with these Terms for either your personal, non-commercial use or for the internal use of your non-profit religious organization. You must follow the rules contained herein and you, therefore, agree not to engage in the conduct described below:
While posting avoids using hate speech. Recognize that people are sensitive to criticism or notice differences of opinion. So let's maintain and try to have a positive relationship in the discussion despite the different views on the topic you are discussing.
For the purpose of exploiting, harming, or attempting to exploit or harm minors in any way by exposing them to inappropriate content, asking for personally identifiable information, or otherwise;
You also agree that you will not send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use, or re-use any material which:
contains any material which is defamatory, obscene, indecent, abusive, offensive, harassing, violent, hateful, inflammatory, or otherwise objectionable;
promotes sexually explicit or pornographic material, violence, or discrimination on any basis, including that based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age;
infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property or other rights of any other person;
violates the legal rights (including the rights of publicity and privacy) of others or contains any material that could give rise to any civil or criminal liability under laws or regulations;
promotes any illegal activity, or advocates, promotes, or assists any unlawful act;
The One may include content or links to other sites or resources provided by third parties. We have no control over the contents of those sites or resources and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them. If you decide to access any of the third-party websites linked to The One, you do so entirely at your own risk and subject to the terms and conditions of use for such websites. All statements and/or opinions expressed in these materials, and all articles and responses to questions and other content, other than the content provided by the different churches who agree on us to use, are solely the opinions and the responsibility of the person or entity providing those materials. These materials do not necessarily reflect the opinion of The One. We are not responsible or liable to you or any third party for the content or accuracy of any materials provided by any third parties.
You may not use our Products to do or share anything that you do not own or have the necessary rights to share.
According to the stated and found violation may your post or account will lead to disabling.
Your permissions you give us
Permission to use your name, profile picture, and information about your actions.
Permission to use the content you create and share: Some content that you share or uploads, such as photos or videos, may be protected by intellectual property laws.
The One Community group page may access your information based on The One's consent to know about you.
The user who has a legit account will receive a notification from The One but beware of those who may use The One's name without permission.
Permitted to do
Although we always hope to provide freedom to all users of The One we strictly enforce compliance according to the dos and don'ts of a user. Those without notice and permission from The One may receive a notification from us or consequences according to his/her violation.
You can delete individual content you share, post, and upload at any time. In addition, you’ll not be able to recover this post once you deleted it.
You can report the post or accounts of other users if a violation is found according to The One's Terms and Privacy policy.
You have the freedom to use the journal as you wish. It is private and only the user himself/herself knows the content.
The owner of a community group has the right to set rules that must be followed by the members of this group. The owner can also delete a post and remove a member if a violation is found.
The user has the right to choose which group to join and can also leave the group whenever he wants.
You may use The One in accordance with these Terms.
Updating our Terms
We work constantly to improve our services and develop new features to make our Products better for you and our community. As a result, we may need to update these Terms from time to time to accurately reflect our services and practices, promote a safe and secure experience on our Products and services, and/or comply with applicable law. We will only make any changes if the provisions are no longer appropriate or if they are incomplete, and only if the changes are reasonable and take due account of your interests or if the changes are required for safety and security purposes or to comply with applicable law.
Limitation on Liability
We work hard to provide the best Products we can and to specify clear guidelines for everyone who uses them. Our Products, however, are provided "as is," and to the extent permissible by law, we make no guarantees that they always will be safe, secure, or error-free, or that they will function without disruptions, delays, or imperfections. To the extent permitted by law, we also DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, and NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not control or direct what people and others do or say, and we are not responsible for their actions or conduct (whether online or offline) or any content they share (including offensive, inappropriate, obscene, unlawful, and other objectionable content).
THE FOREGOING DOES NOT AFFECT ANY LIABILITY WHICH CAN NOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
